- Preparation: Bring a good amount of water to the boil. Add the carrots and cook for 12-16 minutes. Drain and add fresh parsley and/or a dash of liquid margarine to taste. Oven (200°C): Halve the carrots lengthwise and place them in an oven dish. Mix with 2 tablespoons of (olive) oil. Add cumin seeds or curry powder to taste. Bake in the center of a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
